Biology with Michael T.

Hello Students - my name is Michael T. I have been working in the life sciences for over 20 years and would like to help those interested in learning subjects in the biological sciences, including molecular biology, microbiology, genetics (DNA/RNA) and many general areas of the life sciences. I studied biology from the best instructors and professors, including my graduate adviser, Thomas Cech, winner of a Nobel Prize in Chemistry. I have a BS in biology and chemistry and doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have worked with some of the most gifted individuals in the life science industry, and thus have real world experience with many of the important tools in the life sciences, including PCR, sequencing, microbial studies, and gene analysis. I have unique experiences with these subjects, as I have worked with many of the individuals that invented or developed these technologies. I look forward to helping students meet their learning goals.
