Years of playing experience with several instruments. Started taking piano lessons in kindergarden and took school instruments throughout gradeschool. Started guitar when 14 years old. Learned many styles starting with classical guitar moving through contemporary popular music to jazz serious musical training up through college while studying engineering as major. A great understanding of music theory. Three engineering degrees and experience in industry have resulted in years of training individuals for various tasks in the high tech market.

Hello I'm Mr Pearce,
I'm semi-retired and thought that teaching music would be a great way to earn some money while doing something I really enjoy. I really believe that music should be taught as a fun thing to do. Even so beginners as well as serious students benefit by learning the basics of music theory and some discipline in the holding and playing of the instrument. There is no question about the popularity of the guitar in almost all styles of today's music. A traditional approach to learning the guitar with an emphasis on the enjoyment that comes from playing an instrument can lead to a lifelong appreciation of the performing arts no matter the direction and final goals of the student
