I hold a Doctor of Music degree from USC, I've taught students of all ages including beginners, but my specialty is coaching students who already have some proficiency at the keyboard and want to improve their technique and deepen their musical experience and understanding. I incorporate listening and music appreciation into my lessons and part of my teaching is to encourage students to expand their musical boundaries, starting with music that they feel an affinity for, be it classical or pop.
