The GRE can be a tricky test for some students and it takes careful study and practice to raise your score. Since completing my PhD in 2015, I've helped aspiring graduate students score higher on the GRE and build confidence in the skills they'll need to succeed in graduate school. I will help you be strategic, work smarter, and avoid burnout. Here are a few tips to use your time and energy wisely: -Know your current score (diagnostic test) and desired score. -Know which quant skills you know and which you have to learn (Hint: You can improve your score without cramming every word and quant formula into your brain!) -Have a study plan and start ahead of time. -Have accountability (tutor/study buddy) to steady progress so you don't procrastinate and stress yourself out during the last week or two before the test. -If a quant problem requires a lot of labor, there's often an easier way! (I'll teach you.) -Make smart reading and streaming choices to improve vocabulary. -...and more! I recommend beginning lessons at least 3 months before your test date. The recommended number of lessons per week will depend on your goals and timeline. I'll guide you through it, starting with our first lesson.
