West Coast Songwriters is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization. Founded in 1979, WCS has grown into one of the most active music associations in the USA, offering more than 20 events per month. Whether your goal is personal expression or to make a living in the music industry, knowing how to write, or recognize a well crafted song is key to your success. At WCS, members establish important relationships, both professionally and personally, that enhance and accelerate their development. Music ceases to be a solitary pursuit and becomes a shared endeavor through the focus, feedback, collaboration, contacts/networking and support that WCS provides.

TAXI is an Independent A&R company, based in Calabasas, CA, that was founded in 1992 by music veteran Michael Laskow with the intent of helping songwriters, artists, bands, and composers get their music heard by record labels, music publishers, and supervisors of film/TV projects.

Having completed a Masters' degree in Voice Performance and over 5 years of teaching, I have gained a vast knowledge in many genres of music and what it takes to become a great singer. My focus in lessons is to educate you so that you can practice at home and know what feels right, so you can continually progress on your own. If you are preparing for a major audition, or you just want to increase confidence for karaoke night, I would love to help you get there!

I love teaching music and voice lessons. I have experience with a variety of genres and ages. Whether you are looking to increase your karaoke skills, prepare for an audition, or take your own songwriting to the next level, I will create customized lesson experiences for you.

My daughter and I sang in two choirs at our church.  Meghan conducted several sessions with the larger, mixed adult contemporary choir on technique, breathing, posture, etc. and the difference in our sound was amazing!  She also worked with my daughter in several private lessons on solo work.  Meghan is a patient and focused teacher in both group and private settings.  She demonstrated her ability to work with people who had little background in music, to more advanced students.  I highly recommend her!

I had the pleasure of taking about a dozen voice lessons with Meghan last spring and truly enjoyed the experience.  My goal was to improve my singing voice quality and have some fun.  Meghan's sweet and easy disposition belied her expert, discerning instructional skills.  She is truly knowledgeable and able to share her understanding of using breath and body to create lovely sounds.  I highly recommend Meghan!
