I am a current band director focused on your student's mastery and success on the trumpet. We will work on building good practice habits using a well established peer reviewed curriculum. I have also worked as a coach to prep kids for honor band auditions, solo and ensemble work, or even just helping students with their band class literature. I focus heavily on music literacy at the beginning. Just like school kids have to learn to read before they can read to learn.

Hi, I am Matt. I am a band director in the Fort Smith, AR area. I am in my 13th year teaching band and love every minute of it. I teach lessons on Sunday afternoons (CST) to help with starting beginners, or prepping students for region/honor band auditions. My bands have won many awards and traveled extensively all over the US. It would be my pleasure to help you or your child find success on any band instrument.
