Acting with Matthew M.

I fell in to the arts. I auditioned for a play in college because my roommate had to for a Communications class. I got a part and I was hooked. When I began teaching English in 2001, they asked if I would help with the Middle School Musical. Since then, I've directed well over 35 shows, over half of them at the high school level. I've had actors of all types and sizes. Some go on to act and others just say thank you for the experience. I have two kids, both of whom are are theater "nerds." I believe the performing arts are as important as math, science, history classes, and sports (even though I've coached and played soccer all my life). There is something special that happens when you're on stage, and I want everyone to have that feeling - it's the best! I can't wait to work with you.
