I have been surrounded by music since I was born. My father is a worship pastor and my mom was the church pianist growing up. In addition, my brother is the best drummer I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. Music is engraved in my soul. My parents got me involved in piano and theory lessons at a very early age and that transpired into a passion for music that I could not escape! I hold a degree in guitar performance with an emphasis in classical and jazz guitar and a degree in worship leadership from the prestigious Samford School of Music. I have performed in small cafes to large concert halls playing a variety of music from classical and jazz to today's top radio hits. After working with some of the biggest names in christian music like Vertical Worship, Kristian Stanfill, Lincoln Brewster, and All Sons & Daughters, I am now on staff at Current - A Christian Church in Katy, Texas as one of their worship and creative arts pastors. I have had around one hundred students go through my curriculum since I began teaching in 2010. I have a passion for teaching and seeing people succeed at the instrument that I love so much. I can teach someone how to play today's top hits just as easily as I can teach them how to play Beethoven. In addition to just playing music, I love writing and producing music as well. I am a professionally trained audio engineer and Ableton Live trainer. Getting in the studio is my escape from the world.
