I started acting at the age of 10 participating in school plays. From there, I went on to community theater. Performing for me was an escape. A chance to live another life even if only for a brief moment. My childhood and teen years consisted of performing in a number of traveling shows, festivals and on broadway stages. While attending college, I studied a plethora of acting techniques including Meisner, Stella Adler, and Stanislavski. I utilized these methods as I made my way into film and television. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some major film (Black Panther 2, Say Less, Behind Church Doors) and television (Power, Gossip Girl, Servant, Swagger) productions. Alongside acting, I share a passion for script writing and directing as well. Unlike most acting coaches, I am still actively working in the field. I know that feeling of getting into the audition room psyching myself out over not feeling prepared enough. I've spent hours upon hours breaking down scenes and developing an emotional connection with my character. I know that desire of wanting to "get it right". I am right there with you in every sense. Being an actor is just like being an athlete. You need to be training consistently to be at your best 100% of the time. Our lessons will focus on what you as the actor wish to accomplish. This isn’t going to be you reading from a script for an hour and me telling you how well you did. We are going to work together to create a believable performance. You will be getting direct feedback and helpful critique that will push you to make stronger acting choices. We will come up with game plans for your future while working on your craft.
