Child Acting with Marissa B.

I am an actor, director, designer, and public school teacher. I have a bachelors degree in theatre from Centenary College of Louisiana. Acting students can expect to have customized lessons tailored to their specific goals as an actor. I am experienced working with actors as young as 5 and of all skill levels and with any level of experience. I have a background in both Shakespeare and improvisation. Actors will learn techniques drawn from varied acting styles including Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Meisner, and Stanislavsky as well as movement techniques that are designed to connect the actor to the lines, the audience, and the reality of the scene. I teach students in a small studio in my home, will travel locally to students’ homes, or have online classes. I teach both individual, duet, and group lessons with up to 6 students.
