I am a musician and music educator specializing in brass and bass guitar. I hold a Bachelor of Music from Stephen F. Austin State University as well as a Music EC-12 Teacher Certification. I can teach trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and jazz bass guitar.
I thoroughly enjoy listen and watch my students grow as individuals and musicians. Learning a musical instrument teaches a person many things that will have them be successful such as hard work, patience, and delayed gratification. About Marcos F.
First and foremost I am a musician and music educator. I enjoy performing, arranging, composing, and of course passing my knowledge to future generations. I have a very diverse taste in music. Some of my favorite artists/composers include Platina Jazz, Gustav Holst, Karl King, Charles Mingus, and others.
My focuses are brass and jazz bass. Though primarily a euphonium player, I also play trumpet, trombone, and tuba. I teach fundamentals, some advanced techniques, and the music theory to back up and support learning.
