    About M. A.

    M.Allam is available for lessons at his local library, your home/location, or online via Skype, Google Hangouts, or FaceTime. He is a working professional in writing and directing film, TV, and theatre. He has a BFA and MFA in Film Directing and has worked and trained with award winning artists in both regional theatre and public television. Over the past 6 years, he has also dedicated time to tutor and teach in both writing, film production, and acting. In his acting teaching/coaching, M employs exercises and techniques derived from Stanislavski, Adler and Meisner. Additionally, he utilizes methods he's learned from the very talented and experienced directors he's had the benefit of learning from. He has years of experience in academic writing, and screenwriting. He spent the past two years tutoring students at his university's Writing Center. Additionally he taught last summer at a Summer Arts camp for grades 3-9, teaching the kids all aspects of film production.
