Work closely with a thirteen year old child actor, whom I met on a film production. This involves scene work, rehearsal, character building and audition techniques.

ArtStart Summer Arts Camp, Columbia College Chicago

Taught children, grades 3­9, the basic principles of filmmaking and acting. Guided the students to work together to create two short films, in each of the four classes, from the writing stage through production. Emphasized the importance of collaboration and appreciating and respecting fellow cast and crew’s work.

Columbia College Chicago: Writing Center

Worked closely with students to help improve and reinforce writing skills. Taught mini-­lessons about writing, to apply to difficulties a student may have with their assignments. Supported students to acknowledge the ability they have as artists and to be positive.

Pioneer Theatre Company

Assisted PTC’s Artistic Director, Karen Azenberg, on the classic Neil Simon piece. Worked on skits which were filmed for local broadcast as promos.

Studio 115 at the University of Utah

Brought together the entire artistic team to execute the play at a high level of black box theatre. Directed student actors, earning praise for the performances, blocking and visuals in the round from theatre professors.

Babcock Theatre at Pioneer Theatre Company

Assisted the director and a former professor, Elizabeth Williamson, on the original play by Brighde Mullins. Was able to confer and learn from the playwright when she attended table­work.

Pioneer Theatre Company

Assisted the director Dominique Serrand on the workshop of a new play commissioned by PTC.
