Flute with Lucia G.

I am a professional flutist and independent music producer. I graduated from Florida State University with Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Flute Performance. I studied classical flute for over 16 years. I have played in rock bands, orchestras, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist. I have experience in various genres such as Classical, Hip Hop, Math Rock, and Electronic music. I have independently released an EP and played many shows in the Orlando area. 

I teach flute students of all ages and various experience levels. I strongly believe that building a solid foundation are essential in order to develop a gorgeous lush tone, natural vibrato, and to play without tension. I can teach students how to read, write, and record themselves as well. After covering the fundamentals, I also tailor our lessons plans based on the student’s goals and musical preferences. I can teach students how to improvise, compose, and play their favorite songs as well. Creating your own music is a great to be able to express yourself fully. Like my college professor always said, “the flute should be the extension of one’s soul.”
