I am a proud word nerd! I have always had a gift for spelling and grammar and can spot a misspelled word or misplaced comma a mile away. When I hear bad grammar, it makes me flinch. English is such a beautiful language. Because it borrows from so many other sources, it can be daunting to native speakers and ESL students alike. My background is Business Administration. In my former career, I edited and proofread proposal and qualification documents to make my employer look like a rock star. I currently freelance as a proofreader and copy editor for private business clients. I am also writing a fiction novel based on my life. Need to bring up your grade in English or Grammar class?
