My one on one lessons are fit to the student. The pace is adapted to the student’s learning and I also take time make hula an experience for the student not just a one time lesson. They are able to connect with the music and the feelings of their motions. This is truly about telling a story and prepares a student to be on stage to perform in front of an audience.

My name is Liberty and I’ve taught students from the ages of 3 to 80 years old. My first class was taught when I was only 12 years old. I love hula and all the other dances in the South Pacific (Hawaii, Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji). Every one of my students have left my studio feeling more empowered and beautiful in their own way. The most important lesson that I hope my students take away aside from accurate motions and dance skills is, confidence.
