I have been teaching private voice for over 25 years.  I have taught students from 6th grade to college to adult.  I teach breathing and placement to help you build a good foundation of singing.  I work with students with audition preparation and continued studies.  I teach many genres from Music Theater to Classical.  
I believe the act of singing should be a natural act and fun for you.  I have my Doctorate in music and I am a Southerner who now lives in the midwest.  I can help you reach your potential as a singer.

I am a Dramatic Soprano with a Doctorate in Voice from the University of Iowa.  I singing mainly Art Song.
I have an extroverted personality and a unique ability to connect with people.  I want to be able to help you reach your potential as a singer.  
We will work on breathing and placement as well as choosing repetoire that is good for you.  I want to work with you as a team and not be making all the decisions about repetoire.  My philosophy on that is "if you don't like it, you won't work on it."
