Ballet with Laura Love Q.

From the age of one, Laura, followed her big sister’s lead by imitating her every movement as they danced around the house. Laura’s passion for ballet continued to flourish at East Coast Ballet, The Florida Ballet, and Jacksonville Ballet Theatre. Consistently training for nine years under Dulce Anaya dramatically improved her technique. She is known for her expressive performances in Frog Prince as Princess, The Nutcracker as Clara, and Dying Swan. She attended summer programs such as Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive, Kaatsbaan, Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Carolina Ballet which further enhanced her technique. As a scholarship student, she trained with The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in her senior year and continued on with their Graduate Program performing with company dancers. She first developed her teaching skills with The Pittsburgh Ballet, supporting classes for children between ages 5 and 10. Upon her return to Florida, she continued to grow her instructive skills with The Florida Ballet, Arts Edge, and other dance schools in Jacksonville for middle school and high school students as well as her choreography for performances. While teaching in Jacksonville, she continued to dance and perform with The Florida Ballet and in St. Augustine. She also received her certification for Pilates in Balanced Body Mat Work I & II. She began creatively implementing her Pilates training into the conditioning and strengthening classes to supplement injury prevention techniques. Since moving to Orlando in 2016, Laura feels privileged to continue teaching ballet. She enjoys using her expertise teaching a variety of ages and levels at Orlando Ballet and at other dance schools in Orlando. She had a baby girl in 2019 and now is looking forward to using her gifts and abilities online. She is excited to pass her love for ballet on as a teacher with the Lord guiding her steps.
