I've been playing guitar for most of my life. I started playing at age ten and teaching privately at fourteen. In 2004 I was accepted to Berklee College of Music on a scholarship and while there I became well-versed in a wide variety of guitar playing styles, including Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Metal.
I earned my music degree at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music with a degree in guitar performance and I'm currently getting my Master's in guitar performance from Belmont University.
*** Lesson Details ***
As a teacher, I approach each of my students with their own unique lesson plan, tailored specifically to their needs. I understand that everyone wants to learn different things in their lessons, from sight-reading and theory, to simply playing their favorite songs.
As a teacher, I strive to bring joy and discipline through musical studies that will help students both on their instrument and in their everyday lives. I like to challenge my students but not overburden them. My goal as a teacher it to excite and inspire my students so they can get the most out of their musical experiences.
