Flute with Krista J.

Hey I'm Krista! I love my family, dogs, green, Diet Dr. Pepper, Crumbl sugar cookies, and playing the flute! I am currently studying flute performance and pedagogy at Utah Valley University, and loving it. I am learning what it takes to balance family life with school work, while running a flute studio. I have studied and performed in Paris, France with the Da Capo Flute Alliance. While in Paris, I studied with flutists such as, April Clayton, Linda Chesis, Jean Ferrandis, and Nicolas Duchamp. I am very familiar with French technique, and repertoire, along with contemporary and modern works. I have been taught under, Jennifer Badham, Nancy Toone, Christina Castellanos, and Rebecca Chapman, respectively As your teacher, you will find that I am very passionate and dedicated to success- what you put into your lesson is what you are going to get out of it- so come with a good attitude! I am very patient and understanding, and will work at the pace you want, while still giving you results, and helping you achieve your dream of learning to play and mastering the flute.
