I have loved teaching and working with others since I was actually only a middle grade elementary student myself, and find that helping bring out the best in others by helping them in many different ways -- unique to each student/person and their situation -- is what is my true calling and brings me joy. I have over 35 years of professional experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages and just about every learning profile and situation, and it is my joy to help the struggling learner or the bored learner or the one that loves to learn and needs more and everyone in between! I also love to break out of traditional academics and help students find their true interests in all sorts of areas in life, and am a trainer for leaders in the speech and debate, model United Nations and Model Government, and Youth Leadership arenas, as well as in the Service Learning Program area.
