    About Kendall C.

I am a professional actress in the Washington, DC area. I am currently apart of the Teaching Artist company at the Smithsonian Institutes Discovery Theater. As a recent graduate at Point Park University with a BFA in Acting, my goal is to give back through my art. As an instructor it is my intention to encourage the student to use the art as a tool for how to navigate through the world. My acting students become more aware of their bodies and minds, which helps them become more aware in the world around them. It is not solely about the words that are "memorized" in a play, however it is about the internal experience each character has, and ultimately how it changes the actor. Using the combined methods of Stanislavsky, Meisner, and Michael Chekhov, I will aid my students to freedom in their imaginations, body and mind!
