Whether you want to learn one song, or learn how to master your instrument, Keagan is the teacher for you. Keagan has 15 years of experience playing the saxophone, and has played all over the country. He can and will teach you anything you want to learn because the most important thing is to enjoy playing your horn. Keagan plays regularly all over the Pacific Northwest and occasionally farther south with his funk and jazz fusion band “DTW”. He's played everywhere from Eugene and Portland, to Santa Ana and L.A. DTW is a band of ten (sometimes more), with a rhythm section, horn section, and an MC who raps and hypes the crowd. With DTW, Keagan has toured and gained extensive experience on the road as a lead alto player in a horn section playing many genres and developing improvisation. Keagan is also a member of Oregon's 234th Army Band as a woodwind player, performing around the Northwest for all kinds of awards and change of command ceremonies in the military. In the Army Band, Keagan makes appearances playing popular music on Alto and Bari sax at festivals, and concert band performances on Clarinet, Flute or Alto saxophone. Keagan has studied Saxophone Performance and American Vernacular Music at Western Oregon University and has five years of private teaching experience with students of all ages.
