Piano with Katie A.

Hello! My name is Katie Aufenthie and I love teaching piano and voice! I have been singing and playing piano since I was 5, but I have experience teaching students even younger than that! In middle school and high school, I started accompanying the school choirs and I even won an award. In college, I studied piano performance and vocal accompanying and participated in competitions. I went to Valdosta State University and our competitive choir even went to England for a tour! I believe piano and voice lessons should be fun, inspiring, and interdisciplinary. I love to teach by games, kinesthetic activities, and I add art in wherever I can. But most of all, I like to learn about my student and tailor the lessons to the student's specific needs. There is much magic to be made with the piano, and I love nothing more than to give the gift of music to another person!
