I specialize in working with adult beginners :). I started dancing 7.5 years ago at 15 years old and I understand what an adult or teen beginning dancer needs to know in order to be safe, have fun, and make progress :). I hold a BFA in classical and modern dance performance from Adelphi University and I love to teach and choreograph fun classes. It can be very hard to find classes that will go above the beginner level as an adult dancer, so I want to support my students in a way that helps them continually progress as dancers. 
     
 I am a also an ACE certified personal trainer, so my advice and classes are backed by 7.5 years of dance experience as well as a knowledge of fitness and excersise science. I like to tailor programs to my students' needs and incorporate elements of fitness into the ballet training so that students can progress faster and grasp the fundamentals of movement before we do anything super hard.

I'm a professional dancer with experience in modern, ballet, and contemporary dance. I also took 3 years of dance composition (choreography) in college and I love to make fun and interesting combos for my students to work on in class :) I have 7.5 years of dance experience and 2.5 years of teaching experience. 
     I currently hold a BFA in dance performance from Adelphi University and I'm also an ACE certified personal trainer. I love working with all levels of fitness and ability and my goal is to meet you where you are :) 
 
I started my dance and fitness journey late in life at 15 years old so I know how hard it can be to stick to programs and see results. I think back on all of the mistakes that I made or things I wish I'd know, and I want to make sure that all of my students have access to the fundamentals of movement and exercise science while also not getting stuck in any "progress plateaus"
