As a teacher of acting I will teach the ability to become aware of the present moment through different exercises from Uta Hagen. To connect their mind and body in order to embody characters and emotions.  I will also have weekly readings to educate what different practices are happening now and on the history of theater. One should also expect to learn to ground themselves as a person and become totally aware and lose the self conscious behavior. As an actor we have to free our minds to create wether it be by breathing , listening to the body and studying the art. We will always have fun and you will find something new about yourself every time you leave.

Hi, there! My name is Isabel and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 and have loved helping my students raise awareness of themselves and the world around them, connect to the stage to release anxiety and nerves, and create and have fun!  I went to Temple University and earned an associates degree in Theater Arts in 2015. I'm a creative and passionate person and my teaching style is out of the box, organized, and will give you access to parts of yourself in order to be the best performer you can be. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Isabel's classes have been nothing less than amazing. I found her when I was looking for local acting teacher for our grandson who has Tourette syndrome. We were looking for someone that could handle working with a child with a disability and Isabel was the perfect choice. He had fear of getting on stage and no confidence . After a few classes with Isabel his fear was no more. He auditioned for a school play and got the second lead, which has boosted his self confidence and loves to act and sing.

Isabel has a way of making it easy to bring out your inner actor/actress. She was very caring and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend her.
