I am a guitar, voice and bass instructor with about 6 years of teaching experience. I am trained as a classical guitarist, jazz guitarist as well as all popular and contemporary styles. Every student will be approached differently, and their curriculum will be tailored to their own goals, preferences, and levels of playing. We will study proper technique, as well as emphasize music theory to get you playing songs independently in no time!

About Isaac M.

I am a guitarist, singer, bass player and have been performing professionally for about 10 years in several different settings and groups. Currently I am a senior in pursuit of my Bachelor's in Commercial Music. I have performed in many original bands, solo classical guitar recitals, classical ensembles, big band jazz ensembles, as well as solo acoustic with vocals. Currently i perform with a tribute band, a few rock groups and The El Paso Guitar Quartet.

I teach guitar and bass students about 9 years old and up, at any experience level. I am able to quickly adapt to the needs and preferences of each student, as not everyone always wants to learn the same genres, techniques, etc. I will teach each student to read music notation to serve as a foundation to further understand music theory, as well as supply chord charts and diagrams in order to get playing right away.

I teach voice to students about 9 years old and up as well. Whether you want to learn how to hold a tune with a group, learn to be a singer-songwriter, or need help learning choral music for your next school performance or church service. Voice lessons are also specifically tailed to the goals of each student, with an emphasis on breathe, technique, posture, and pitch. Learning to reference a pitch and replicate it within your own voice is a necessary skill we will work on, as well as learning to read notation and sing the correct pitch and rhythm.

I look forward to meeting you and help you fulfill your goals as a musician.
