Having at least fifteen years of experience in the film industry (my IMDB page has over 130 credits) I have shot over twelve feature films and have been the Cinematographer in a number of music videos, EPKs, infomercials, commercials and several TV shows. 

Prior to becoming a DP,  I worked as a gaffer in a great number of features including a film directed by Al Pacino's (Wilde Salome) and a film (Turbulence/Estorvo) that was selected for Palm D'or at the main competition at Cannes Film festival. I am also a three time Emmy Award winner.

  In addition, I have done lighting design for theater, like the show Corpus Delict presented at the Disney Hall and given lighting workshops at UC Berkeley. 

Besides my experience I bring to the classes a strong work ethic and the uttermost respect for the student.

I will teach you the basics (and beyond that if needed) of lighting and how to create a memorable scene.

First of all, let me tell you I have a high regard for lighting. Not only high regard, I have reverence for lighting. Since for me lighting is everything in filmmaking.

 As for me, I am a cinematographer/director of photography who likes to create striking images, knows the difference between mood, theme and “feel” when it comes to filmmaking.
