With the turn of the new year he has been in the process of recording his first professional album and arranging concerts for the 2014 season. *** Lesson Details *** I design lessons to give students the tools that they need to reach their individual music goals, no matter what those might be. In addition to this, I also supplement any student's learning to provide them with the resources and understanding to pursue musical avenues which they did not know they were capable of. When a student achieves their goals and is still as curious as before they began studying I feel I've done my job. I teach all styles. While my masters degree is in classical guitar performance, my undergraduate was in electric and classical guitar performance. I've spent many years in jazz bands, ensembles, and giving solo performances. Lastly, I wholeheartedly believe that anyone has within them the ability to play music. Over the years I've found that people simply learn differently and this is one of the reasons I enjoy my job. It's very interesting for my to find ways to help others understand the very thing that brings me such joy, music. *** Studio Equipment *** Home Studio *** Travel Equipment *** All students will need a guitar, tuner, and notebook. *** Specialties *** Classical, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Folk, etc. I've played and taught most genres. I choose methods specifically suited to each student's needs and goals.
