I'm a 24 year-old performing musician with 8 years of teaching experience. I'm an active member in the NC Triangle music scene as a performer and recording artist. I also teach Pilates, where I learned the value of self-awareness and balance, which is at the core of my teaching principles. I feel I have something to offer to all levels and ages and have found my method to be highly engaging for young children and beginners. :: My Home Studio :: I have a living room studio in Carrboro equipped with my band gear, making for fun multi-instrumental lessons! Recording gear and a powerful PA allow us to play to various audio tracks and record our own material. These tools are invaluable and key to my personal development as an artist. :: Teaching at Your Home :: You don't need a drum kit to start taking lessons! I'll bring a drum pad, sticks, and a metronome, and occasionally some hand drums. All you need to supply is a pen and paper.
