Hello future actors and actresses!  I am thrilled that you want to learn more about Acting.  I love teaching and I have so much to share with you!  I have taught grade school age to senior adults.I began my training in NYC at the Maggie Flanigan Conservatory, the Michael Chekhov Studio, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Improv School (founded by Amy Poehler). I am also a versatile singer, with performing credits ranging from the Nashville Opera to opening for country singer Tracy Lawrence. I can be seen in the 2013 film Bird People, the short film Beyond the Fire (YouTube), and the web series Stuck in Normal.  My favorite theater roles include Squeaky Fromme in Assassins and Little Red Riding hood in Into the Woods.  I am currently on staff at Actors Breakthrough Studio in Jonesboro, GA in addition to private coaching.   *** Lesson Details *** Acting is so much more than we think it is, it is not just memorizing lines and reciting them.  I am passionate about sharing the immense knowledge that my teacher in NYC passed onto me.  In our Acting lessons, we will work on all aspects of acting including Monologue, Cold Reading, Audition Preparation, and On-Camera Technique.  Because of the nature of Acting lessons, I do not teach 30 min lessons.  There is simply not enough time to work on the material in a way in which the student will grasp concepts.  Most lessons will be 1 hour and last the duration of the school year.  However, I will certainly tailor each student's lessons and longevity according to his or her needs. *** Studio Equipment *** HD Camera, Tripod, Soft box lights. *** Travel Equipment *** *** Specialties *** Meisner
