As a piano & voice teacher with 6 years of experience, I made the decision to start my own studio in May 2020. I have a love and enthusiasm for teaching! I especially love teaching beginners, ages 5-18. ‍I have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Freed-Hardeman University and a Master’s degree in Education from Missouri State University. I have a total of 10 years of experience teaching a combination of private piano & voice lessons and K-12 music. ‍In addition to teaching, I also have experience in piano accompaniment, both for soloists and musicals. I was music director and accompanist for musicals such as Beauty and the Beast and Wizard of Oz. I also have a background in accompanying collegiate vocal students and a university choral group. ‍‍I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and am currently the treasurer for the Rockwall Music Teachers Association (RMTA). I now have my own home piano & voice studio based out of Rockwall, TX. I can’t wait to get to know you better!
