With a love for theatre, Emilie has been inspiring and spreading art enthusiasm for the past 5 years. She found her love for directing at the young age of 12 and has pursued sharing her passion since.
Throughout her career, Emilie has accrued many accomplishments including getting her BFA in Theatre for Youth at Shenandoah University. Directly after graduating, she plunged into the world of teaching children theatre, this is where she has found her heart and her home. Emilie has been a successful lead teacher, has directed over 50 shows, hosted many auditions in three states and continues to grow her resume. Teaching students from ages 5-25, Emilie is able to provide skills that will help any student thrive in the ever changing world of today, such as: socialization, public speaking, creative problem solving, literary strength, confidence, and of course a love for the arts. Emilie can help your student be prepared for any audition: school, community, or professional theatre.
With a passion for creativity and imagination, Emilie finds a way to connect with all students with her positive and encouraging personality. She loves anything and everything that has to do with creating and sharing imagination skills. She is excited to meet and work with you or your aspiring artist.

In charge of organization, up keep, and improvement of the studio and programs, manage and train employees, create schedules, oversee classes and production work, organize and conduct productions, gather and create production elements (costumes, lights, sound, make-up, set), create curriculums and lesson plans, create new programs and events, represent company in off-site teaching, directing, and conferences, recruiting students and advertising.
In charge of creating curriculum, implementing created lesson plans, parent communications, overseeing safety and enjoyment of students, keeping a high paced and energetic class, final performance coordination and execution for class.
Create lesson plans, teach classes and workshops, maintain safe work place, clean work place weekly, coordinate sets, props, lights, and sound, work with different co-teachers and students every week, represent company in off-site teaching.
Responsible for co-teaching and leading classes in teacher’s absence, leading warm-ups, taking attendance, contacting schools for performances, creating rehearsal reports, organizing sequence of performance.
