When studying guitar with Duane, all students will benefit from a musical education that is rooted in the fundamentals of music. Each student will receive a solid, foundation in reading music, building technique and fretboard knowledge, music theory, ear training, chord mastery, and soloing styles. Each student gets to choose the style of music that he or she wishes to learn. Whatever style that the student chooses, will be learned directly from actual recordings, so that all the nuances of that style can be explored. If the student is unsure of the style of music that they would like to learn, the student can learn a little bit from many different popular styles of music.
