I am a creative drama coach with a fun and friendly approach. Acting for film, TV, and theater has been food for my soul ever since I was young. From the Elizabethan era to contemporary playwrights, I have performed and produced many plays and films. I've received excellent training from top professionals in the industry. I am proficient in both production and direction work.

My expertise: On-camera audition skills, cold reading skills, stage, screen, and film acting, improvisation, and monologue preparation.

About Douglas R.

I am a professional actor and an improvisational comedy performer; I graduated from AMDA College of the Performing Arts with a BFA in Acting and Film. My acting students focus on monologue preparation. They can expect to improve their on-camera audition skills, cold reading methods, stage, film, and screen acting techniques, as well as improvisational ability. Students of all ages will learn the theater process through personal experiences and heritage, imagination, literature, and history. Actors will leave my session understanding different art forms, pantomime, and learn to analyze and construct meanings, body awareness, and much more.

As a professional actor, I have traveled all over the southwest performing with an interactive improvisational stage act for over a decade. Most recently, I landed a role in a national commercial for Saatva Mattress. Additionally, I trained with award-winning professionals in the industry and worked with many talented entertainers from all over the world. I love mentoring students and giving them the confidence to tackle their creative endeavors and projects successfully.

I look forward to helping you develop an excellent technique for every style of acting and performing. Contact me to become a better actor!
