I've been playing the piano for 20 years and teaching the piano for 7 years. I teach piano performance, composition, and improvisation for all genres from classical music to rock and pop. I teach both children and adult students. My lessons focus on technique building, learning new pieces, preparing for recitals and competitions, music theory and composition, improvisation, and developing your own unique style. As a pianist I'm well versed in the classical music repertoire from the Baroque era (Bach, Handel), to the Classical era (Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn), to the Romantic era (Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff), and to the Impressionist era (Debussy, Ravel). As a composer I have arranged famous rock and pop songs such as the Final Countdown and Uptown Funk for solo piano.
