The guitar is a fun but challenging instrument. I teach my students how to play with proper technique, whether it's an acoustic or electric guitar. I make sure that all my students understand the basics of how to play notes and chords while also playing in proper rhythm.

Hey there! My name is Dennis, and I have been playing the drums for most of my life, and have taught for nearly 10 years. Music has become my greatest passion, and I love to share it with anyone who wants to learn. Music is a very special artform in which everyone can relate, feel, and understand, and creating that nostalgia is an incredible virtue. Over the years, I have the opportunity to share stages with many bands, record drums for artists, and watch my students grow into professionals. If you would like to see me perform, you can find me on Friday nights near Pizza My Heart in Downtown Palo Alto. I can teach lessons to students of any age, skill level, or versatility. If you are willing to learn, I am here to help you reach your goals. Some fundamentals that I teach include proper technique, reading and playing rhythms, ear training, dynamics, ambidexterity, improvisation, feel, and of course any song you'd like to learn.
