Guitar with Dennis B.

My specialty on guitar is contemporary praise music and jazz chord theory. I have over 30 years experience, most of that as a full time teacher. My goal is that the student learns how the the guitar works so that he/she can play any style of music they want from classical to popular, either acoustic or electric, and from beginner to advanced. My focus is on understanding music and guitar technique instead of specific songs. I've taught hundreds of students and have written much of my own curriculum. I also teach bass, ukulele, keyboard theory and voice. I have a teaching degree from the University of AL with a minor in music as well as a M. Div. from an accredited seminary. I have several endorsements and spent 10 years directing a fine arts school while training teachers. I strive to create a life long love for learning with my students and an enjoyment of music.
