Hello everyone!
My name is Dave! I've been drumming since I was just 4 years old! I started my first band at 10 years old and have been going ever since. I play in bands regularly and am as passionate about performing, as I am passionate about TEACHING! I love to rock and roll mostly and I hope you do too! Let's begin the conversation NOW!


Dave is the best!  He’s well rounded in different genres and has worked on both rock, metal and jazz drums with our 12 year old son.  He’s come so far in just the few months Dave has been his teacher and mentor.  Our son has connected with him and really loves their time together.  We’ve been so impressed with his knowledge and his ability to work on different genres of music with him as he loves metal but is in a jazz band at school.  Our son has improved so much since we met Dave and we can’t say enough about what a great teacher he’s been.  He’s also helped us non musical parents with everything we needed to know and get and generously brought his own equipment with him for our son to try.  Definitely recommend for any level of drum playing!  

When learning to play rock and metal… And punk… The way I like to approach it is to learn the mechanics first… Understand what I’m doing and why playing softly in the beginning helps me formulate that. As I get more comfortable I also have to learn to play more heavily. sometimes it’s like doing cardio… There’s a way to approach that also!
