Hello, my name is Dan Geffrey, and I am super excited to help you on your path of musical development! I have been teaching since the start of this year and would love to help you develop as a musician. I can help you improve your saxophone knowledge and abilities, and musicianship qualities, as well as give you an introduction to music history and theory as it is relevant to your interests in music. I am a student at Slippery Rock University and graduate of Upper St. Clair. I have been a member of several elite groups of young musicians including renowned high school jazz bands, concert bands, and musical orchestras as well as several university wind ensembles, concert bands, jazz groups, and marching bands. I recently helped claim two international championships in Dublin and Limerick, Ireland with my university marching band. I am ready to help you develop your skills to help you achieve your musical goals. With my plans and flexibility in teaching, we can meet your goals, I am ready to raise you to new musical heights, both literally and figuratively. I will help you improve your sound, build your technique, and extend your range on the instrument.
