Hi! My name is Dana and I am from here in Sacramento! I have been playing drums since the 6th grade, and have been rigorously studying and working on my craft since then. I went to high school at Natomas Charter School's Performing and Fine Arts Academy and went on to do my undergraduate studies at Eastman School of Music, where I majored in Jazz Drum Set Performance. During all of this time, I have made money as a gigging musician. I have delved into many genres, namely jazz, hip hop, rock, R'n'B, and pop music. I have had experience as a group leader, sideman, orchestra pit musician, or as a member of a band. I have been studying the technique of drum set playing for years, and have built up enough expertise on the subject to teach not only basic hand and foot techniques, but also how to apply these things to different genres.
