Teaching someone to learn a musical instrument is my passion! I love watching a person learn and being a part of the process.I am a retired band director with thirty-two years of experience. Many of my former students have gone on to great careers, including a number of band directors around the country,a district manager of a Guitar and Drum Center store and even a trumpet player with the Army in Korea! I was twice listed in "Who's Who in America's Teachers." Prior to that, I spent three years as a bugler in the U.S. Army with the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps near Washington, D.C. Besides all the woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, I play and teach piano and accompany my students at recitals. I have five children of my own in music who perform and teach extensively.
