Saxophone has been a passion of mine for 20+ years. I hold a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in saxophone performance. I have been a finalist in concerto competitions and featured soloist with several professional ensembles. I bring a practical approach to teaching the saxophone that is both challenging and fun. Students will learn a variety of genres of music that suits their needs. Can't wait to teach you!

About Craig C.

Hello! My name is Craig Carnes and I have been a professional saxophonist for about 10 years. I love teaching students how to become better musicians and, more importantly, better people through music. I teach 5th-12th grade band at a local school district as well as being an adjunct faculty member for saxophone at a local university which means that I have all the necessary FBI and BCI background checks and have been verified to interact with students. This information can be made available upon request. I am capable of teaching students at all agree and ability levels. I have taught other students who have gone in to become music educates themselves as well as students who have auditioned and participated in the Macy's Great American Matching Band on Thanksgiving Day in New York City. I look forward to working with you and showing you how great it can be to learn the saxophone at the next level!
