My job is to teach AP Chemistry and Chemistry, and while I love that job, guitar is more fun than chemistry, right? That said, I feel like with guitar, it's my job to get you where you want to be, and provide my own tips/insight/experience that I think can help get you there faster. I'm willing to structure the lesson so that you can get what you want out of it, or I can just plan the whole thing in advance; it just depends on what you want out of it. So what do you want to start learning first? One cool song? One cool riff? How to play scales and chords? How to write your own stuff and improvisation? How to play like your favorite guitarist? How to read sheet music for guitar? Let me know, and we'll get started! I'm not going to come at you with some "Secret fretboard shortcuts", but there are some shapes that are really helpful for when you want a major sound, a minor sound, or a funky sound, and your favorite guitarist probably has a few of those that (s)he uses a lot.
