I am a mechanical engineering major and I knew I had to build a very strong base in math. For that very reason I have decided to take AP Calculus AB my junior year of highschool and AP Calculus BC my senior year. Even though I passed both of the AP tests, I wanted to further concrete my base in calculus so I ended up taking Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 in college.
After all this time of learning and using calculus I have reached a benchmark in my life and believe that I am knowledgeable enough in the topic to tutor others the way I would have liked to be taught as a student. With this in mind, I know I can help math students keep up with the course and learn all of the required topics in the allocated time with full understanding.
One of the reasons I decided to become a mechanical engineer major is because I have a passion for math. While it may come easy to me, I have helped many peers stuck on some concepts of calculus and even exceed their own expectations.
I really am excited to take on any student to tutor to help understand any form of Calculus!
