    About Carol A.

What is most important to me is that I am able to give you the tools you need to develop your own voice, vocabulary, and dance literacy- to choreograph your own pieces. I taught at Steps On Broadway in New York City for more than 15 years, at schools and universities both in the US and overseas, and what I continue to love is that every person's dance is vital, relevant, and meaningful-it matters! My own work comes from training in contemporary, modern, ballet, and jazz technique. My choreography has been performed at the Manhattan Center, Universities in the US, Europe and Africa, and on concert and musical theater stages. My continued research focuses on what people experience in their daily lives, and teaching students how to move what they want to say.
