Learn to ace your AP European History.
History is the story of our parents, grandparents, grand-grandparents, and so on. It is about how did they live, how did they die, and what did they accomplish. History is about your ancestors. They could have been gold mine diggers, farmers, presidents or kings, teachers, healers, or priests.
History is about where they built their houses, how did they get along with their neighbors, the mistakes they made and how they fixed them, and all the other little things that make a life.
My teaching method is to make you understand how we became what we are today. If you learn this, then you will not only pass the exams, but you may fall in love with the past.
Because to foresee the future, you must know the past.

I am a history teacher certified by the state of Minnesota. I teach World History, European History, and all AP History Subjects, including US History. If you want to score high on your AP exam, I can teach you how to do it and show you how to write your best historical essay.
-----Look Out for my Essay Writing Group Class Every Month-------
I have over 30 years of writing experience. I write articles, essays, and long-form fiction. My teaching method involves placing events in a larger and more relevant context, connecting the past to the present, and extracting the causes and consequences of our past actions.
I earned my B.A. in history while in my native country, Romania. My teachers showed me that I could not understand the present and prepare for the future without knowing my past. Maybe that’s why I became a journalist.
I spent the last twenty years in Minnesota, meeting wonderful people.
History proved my passion, and I am here to guide you through its intricate ways.
In my spare time, I write books and create quizzes.

My 15-year-old just had his first lesson with Camelia. He needed help with his AP World DBQ essay. He said Camelia was extremely helpful. She has done more in one hour than his teacher in the past 2 months!

I love teaching. I love the spark in young children's eyes when they learn something new and interesting, the awe when they finally understand a hard concept and the curiosity that follows. I love the passion with which middle-school students plunge into a new field of study. I love the intellectual concentration and slightly detached academic interest of teenagers when they immerse themselves in a subject. Nothing is more rewarding for a substitute teacher than seeing the light of knowledge burning in their children's eyes.
