I am a history teacher certified by the state of Minnesota. I teach World History, European History, and all AP History Subjects, including US History. I write articles, essays, and long-form fiction.  My teaching method involves placing events in a larger and more relevant context, connecting the past to the present, and extracting the causes and consequences of our past actions. I earned my B.A. in history while in my native country, Romania. My teachers showed me that I could not understand the present and prepare for the future without knowing my past. Maybe that’s why I became a journalist. I spent the last twenty years in Minnesota, meeting wonderful people. History proved my passion, and I am here to guide you through its intricate ways.
