    About Brittany B.

    Dr. Brittany Benningfield currently serves as Lecturer in Voice at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Her students perform regularly in school productions, community events, and regional theatre productions. While in Kentucky, her students performed with The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA), Blackbird Dance Theatre, Woodford Theatre Young Artists, and the Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts, singing lead roles in school and community productions of both musical theatre and opera programs. Her students have been accepted into prestigious academic and music programs, such as The Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts, National Association of Teachers of Singing semi-finals and finals rounds, Northern Kentucky University, Wright State University, University of Kentucky, and more!
