I am a senior in college soon graduating and earning a degree in piano performance and audio production. I find the most important aspect of improving at the piano is by finding a practice routine that you both enjoy and can stick to. In order to accomplish this, I customize my lesson plans based on each particular students goals. I can teach you how to read the grand staff, play from lead sheets, understand music theory, develop proficiency on your instrument and improvise/learn songs by ear. I started playing the piano 7 years ago and have undergone training at the university level, so I am aware of many of the challenges that adults face when learning the piano for the first time. Personally, I am passionate about pop, alternative rock and jazz, but I highly value the fundamentals as they are integral to performing any style of music.
