I was on staff at Hamilton Music In St. Louis for several years teaching many different guitar styles.

Guitar Teacher

I can teach a variety of styles and will make sure that my students understand the fretboard. I teach scales and modes along with phrasing. I teach improvisation and Jazz. I am very well  versed in classical guitar and finger picking techniques. I'm also very good with beginning students in helping them understand the guitar.i teach dexterity exercises too.

I am a professional composer,Guitarist  and guitar teacher. I have an extensive background in ear training and music theory. I can teach any style of guitar from Rock,Country,Classical,Jazz,Finger picking etc. I have high standards for my students and expect them to work hard to improve the skills they have learned.

Bob taught me for 3 years and I learned how to play Rock, Country and Jazz. If you practice hard you will progress quickly with him. He is the best.

I took lessons from Bob having very little knowledge of the guitar and music. By the time I was done with my lessons I was playing regularly in a band and singing harmony. It was a great experience.
